What I don't get is why the need for a cryptocoin in the first place?
Generally you have to buy the coin first…so USD to Coin. Then spend the coin. If hackers gets ur coins…welp, you lost them and your cash same as if you just used a Bank card. Difference is, you can't go through your bank for help with the cryptocoin theft.
Since cryptocoin theft is more rare(currently), why can't our normal cash cards use blockchain encryption?
I don't understand the need for a dedicated gaming coin.
Surely all of this could be done with whichever distributed ledger technology becomes market leader.
I imagine Ethereum, EOS, IOTA, etc will all offer native Unity support in the near future.
