ANOTHER Fox Host Calls Out Trump on Biden Fiasco

So now let’s talk about Shepard Smith on Fox
news because we act [inaudible] what’s going on with Trump and Ukraine is so crazy. It’s so out there in terms of the, the seriousness
and the brazen nature of it that not one, but multiple Fox news hosts have been trying
to insert some dose of reality into coverage of the story. So we already talked about a Fox host John
Roberts confronting Rudy Giuliani on the Fox Sunday program. Uh, that was great to some degree that it
potentially pierced the echo chamber of some of the Fox news audience. This was not the only time that the Trump
Ukraine story was called out. Shepard Smith tried merely telling the truth,
pointing out that the issue here is not Biden. It’s Trump’s phone call, which we now know
was proceeded by a few days with Trump’s order that hundreds of millions of dollars in military
aid to Ukraine be withheld. And Shepard Smith tells it like it is. There’s no evidence that the allegations against
Joe Biden have anything to them. No facts support the allegation that Biden
did anything wrong here, really pure seeing the narrative of the average Fox news viewer. Take a look. They failed where the Russia, they failed
with recession, they failed with everything and now they’re bringing this up to one who’s
got the problem is biting cause you look at what Biden did, Biden did what they would
like to have me do except that one problem I didn’t do it. There is known, known evidence that Biden
did anything wrong. The whole thing involved corruption in Ukraine,
a corrupt prosecutor who much of the world was pressuring Ukraine to remove earlier this
year over Ukrainian officials said there was no evidence of any wrongdoing by Joe Biden
or his son Hunter. The real issue here is the phone call, the
claim that the president pressure to foreign leader to investigate a political rival and
the failure to pass the whistle whistleblower complaint to Congress. Now among Democrats, pressure to impeach this
president is building Shep speaking clearly, accurately and truthfully. This is not a Pat on the back to ship. This is what every news reporters should be
doing. This is what we would expect on every network. Simply saying, here is what we know happened. Here’s what Trump is alleging and there is
no evidence for what Donald Trump is alleging here. Now, fascinatingly, Shep Smith is not on Fox
news at 3:00 AM he has like a normal daytime newscast. Now that being said, the middle of the afternoon
Eastern time is not exactly the hot time to be doing news, but Shep is telling it like
it is at least on some issues and every time that this happens I get emails from people
in my audience saying, David Shep has no place at Fox. He should really be elsewhere. And again, I’ve said before, Shep is not going
to take down the broader narrative of Fox news as a tool of the Republican party, but
simply being there and getting to tell the truth every once in awhile, Shep is invading
the otherwise unfettered Trumpy and narrative that the Fox news audience is generally speaking
used to. And that’s a good thing. And I was looking at some of the comments
online from the Fox news audience about this segment, and you see the normal stuff about
no one cares what you think. Mrs. Smith, I saw a referring to Shep Smith,
or no one likes this afeminant outburst, stuff like that, homophobic stuff about Shep Smith. Everything that you would expect. I still think that there is some good done
by Shep Smith presence on Fox news, even though it also potentially, as I’ve said before,
does provide some cover to Fox to say we’ve got some conservative editorial stuff going
on, but our news is right down the middle and pointing to Shep Smith, which is of course
a total distortion of the overall balance of what we’re getting on Fox news. Let me know what you think. Let me know what you think about Shep’s presence
on the channel.

  1. I'm waiting for Trump to come out and say "I dont get what the big deal is, i did it with Russia and Mueller investigated and said that wasn't a crime"

  2. Ukraine's Nalyvaichenko (member of Fatherland Party like our congressmen) is opening an investigation into Lutesenko (their Prosecter General like our AG) because he was in communication with Trump's agents "for vendictive purposes". I just read that on the NPR on Google. The article is long and detailed. Trump opened a can of worms here and there! Unbelievable times we are in!

  3. I love this show, so I watched all 3 of these videos, and I'm still not at all convinced that Joe Biden is innocent. If he didn't withhold a major loan to Ukraine in exchange for the firing of a prosecutor to protect his son Hunter, then exactly what happened? You can't just hand waive that clip of Biden's confession away. Give us some context to the loan, or to the prosecutor in question. Maybe some context to what Hunter's involvement was? What I'm saying is that if you want to debunk this 'conspiracy theory', then you need to do more legwork. Actually dig and research things that the mainstream media won't research, because they make their money by regurgitating PR statements. I don't have to tell you that. I know you're better than them. You're just having a bad day. Maybe later on, you can give this a proper debunking. Until then, I probably won't be changing my mind on Biden.

To be clear, my understanding of the story so far is as follows… Joe Biden used tax payer money to protect his corrupt son in Ukraine, and Trump is right to ask the Ukrainian government to investigate that corruption, because it's not like our police forces have jurisdiction to investigate in Ukraine. We can't send in the FBI and the IRS, and nobody with a brain trusts what the CIA or the rest of the intelligence community says, ever since the invasion of Iraq. High level corruption, like what Joe and Hunter Biden were engaged in, requires high level involvement in the investigation, which may include heads of state communicating about it. Joe Biden should not be able to protect himself from that scrutiny by running for president.

It will take more than hand waiving to debunk that. If you want to play the debunk game, and be taken seriously, I need research, and sources cited. If anybody can do it, though, it's David Pakman.

  4. Having Shep on FOX is a good thing.
A good thing for OAN. Because as soon as anyone who watches FOX News, sees Sheppard Smith's face, they INSTANTLY switch the channel to One America News. Same thing happens with Chris Wallace, Bret Baier, and Neil Cavuto

  5. I can see Trump putting a note of thanks to Obama and Biden on a stack of cash in the back of a drawer and Trump calling Fox and Friends to come over to see the proof of a bribe.

  6. Yeah, I watched this Fox segment yesterday live.
I was happily surprised by Shep Smith and his co-anchor John the White House correspondence dude.
Sheppard is the only honest Fox dude that I recommend.
All the rest are fuckin crazy fanatics!

  7. Soooo basically Trump is feeling the heat and knows that Biden is close to win the next 2020 election? Perhaps bit concern? Any dirt is good to win more votes? πŸ€”πŸ€”

  8. Okay, but it's one thing for Shep Smith, or even Judge Napolitano, to call Trump out for this (which they both did), STEVE DOOCY said that if this is true, it;s "off the rails bad"! Even Fox and Friends is abandoning Trump on this!

  9. It's a good thing that he's there. If there's ever a fox viewer that can be reached, that Can use reasoning, at least there is potential to reach that person if there is an actual journalist at fox. Even if fox just uses him. Think of all the teenagers being raised by parents who only watch fox…. Most are a lost cause and will be right wing fox viewers themselves. But if they happen to hear Shep Smith on a day that coincides with something a teacher that they trust just taught them In school, then there's a chance that that teenager can realize the difference between fox and actual news.

  10. Ms Smit occasionally calls a duck a duck and languidly points out the non-ambiguous. Don’t think he even deserves a cookie for that.

  11. The right is preaching coded white Supremacy and tRump the megaphone! That's why when you go to comment it's all bullying and name calling ! White male anger!

  12. Hey at the end of the day Fox News has INSANE ratings so Shep is hitting millions with a dose of common sense to balance out the Faux Lineup!!

  13. The thing is, CNN and MSNBC don't have a bizzaro Shep Smith themselves..pumping out the Trump narrative to appear more balanced to what the audience may want. With that said, the Trump narrative is batshit crazy, but still.

  14. Shepard Smith has some serious dirt on someone very high up at Fox News. It must include videos. Otherwise he’d have been sacked long ago

  15. I'm torn on Shep's position on Fox.
Either he's the rebellious underdog that's filling to fight the narrative OR he's a shill willing to take a personal blow so that his propaganda channel can still claim it's news and not opinion.

  16. Once, someone replied to a comment of mine, stating that, gay people can't be trustworthy!
So, Shep on fox is most likely just talking to himself.

  17. Never in the history of this country, have we ever had a POTUS on a daily basis throws out conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory and basically slanders anyone and everyone who speaks out against his lawlessness.Β  When is this national nightmare going to end?Β  You idiots that support the man need to realize that we need to put country ahead of party because that is what is at stake here.

  18. cucks importing people to raise the rent lower the wages and pollute and consume until we're mars like the last advanced species.

  19. How many death threats do you think he gets on a daily basis? No matter the cynical calculation behind these segments Smith deserves at least some commendation for putting him self out there to the wolves.

  20. Forget about changing Fox from the inside. They need to go down completely. They and the rest of the right wing hate media have done more damage to this country than any terrorist could ever dream of, and they need to be held accountable. Fomenting strife and divisiveness is just like yelling fire in a crowded theater. They need to go away.

  21. Poor Shep. Lone voice in an alternate universe. How come the average Fox viewer seems to miss the fact based narratives, but feast on the despicable diatribes from the nightly menu?

  22. Sorry Cadet Bone Spurs, thoughts and prayers πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸ—‘πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»πŸŽ»

  23. Trump and Rudy for prison in 2020πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’πŸ”’

  24. Wow!!! This is a complete reversal of what Fox usually does, they don't tell the truth anything. I wonder if they see the writing on the wall for Trump and the Republican Party, which has put them in a centrist position, meaning the can change their attitude toward the truth.

  25. Fox sounds a bit like Sky News in Australia. Serious news in the daytime (non-partisan) but switches to rabid right-wing "Sky After Dark" at night. Except no one watches. The nighttime audience rarely tops 70,000. (Population is 25 million.)

  26. Shep is the litmus test for Fox and their viewers. If they can maintain support for their narrative after Shep's segment then they know the have their rhetoric dialed in correctly. If he makes a dent, based on their internal polling, then they tweak their message. It's how they keep their viewers on their channel. They try to give the oppositions position.

  27. This is nothing new when it comes to Shep Smith, he usually calls out Trumps lies and misdeeds. And I think this does have something to do with Biden because this is almost a reminder of the clintons and their corrupt demeanor. Americans are sick of a political ruling class and their corrupt and abuse. And don’t paint me as a Trump supporter, didn’t vote for him, he’s the worst president ever.

  28. Perhaps FOX News is signaling that the deep pocket Republicans no longer see Trump as an asset and are willing to cut him loose.
Trump has kinda been doing his own thing lately and also dissing FOX News by threatening to switch to AON for news

  29. A good response to the "No one asked for your effeminate outburst Mrs. Smith" is
"Even if it was effeminate, it doesn't change the facts being reported, (insert any sort of insult, I like dumbfuck, inbred bumpkin, or the one that stings their fragility the most: closet cocksucker – because when they come back with anything you can always say something immature "I see you found some time to bitch and complain in between sucking cock" )."
-This is NOT endorsed by David Pakman. Because causing rage-induced heart attacks to 75-year-old right-wing fatasses is not his thing.

  30. Here is a little info on what Trump believes about himself and his "RULERSHIP" of America:

    In a phone interview with Fox and Friends, July 3, 2019; Trump said the following;

β€œThe Democrats can subpoena me and MY Administration for the next 10, 15, 20 years and WE will never capitulate! They need to face the fact that β€œI” am in charge, This is β€œMY” country and β€œI” will do as β€œI” please, they have no control over β€œME”! The people support me and will always support β€œME”!

It is safe to assume that he means is that neither Congress or the Supreme Court has any control over him either: Clearly showing that he neither knows or cares about the Constitution, The Rule of Law, or any normal behavior.

He really believes that he is the β€œTOTAL RULER” of the United States and can do whatever he wants and that no-one can stop him!

  31. I wonder how this is affecting Ukraine. They recently kicked out a virulent right wing government for a comedian centrist guy.

  32. So Trumptards want us to believe that Joe Biden tried to protect his son by removing a corrupt investigator … and replacing him with an honest one? 🀣🀣🀣 Even the average Trumptard has a 50/50 shot to spot the logical hole in this sad, sad β€œargument”!

  33. The investing I G said that the whistleblower had serious political bias against the President and his lawyer is an ex-Clinton lawyer.

  34. Every corporate network does this now. They have 1 or 2 hosts that go against their grain to make them seem fair and impartial.

  35. Effeminate outburst?
No one cares what he thinks?
    1. It's not opinion; it's fact.
    2. What was effeminate about it?
    3. Even if it was effeminate, then what TF does that have to do with anything?

    I really hate these people…

  36. the problem is republicans…they are beholden to trumptards…this is a gift to them. Congress impeaches, the Senate confirms, republicans get a new candidate with plenty of time till the election….Dems are completely unprepared for anyone other than Trump. Except Bernie, and Elizabeth. And one wonders if America can go from Trump to honest politicians.

  37. I like Shep. Not that much… but he can be funny and honest. …and that last ones hard to come by now adays.
But yeah, sad that he gives FOX more credibility than theyv ever earned as a network.

  38. DISTRACT DISTRACT Distract πŸ˜‰ Distract DISTRACT .. SMDH Is all they got to feed there live stock & Orange koolaid 2 drink ? Sorry folks nothing left to see here ☠️

  39. He absolutely needs to be there. The main reason for the ones who thinks cnn and other media outlets are fake just because of the logo.
I cant share anything with msnbc without a Trumpist calling it fake

  40. Shep Smith is FOX's flying trapeze safety net for the eventual fall of The Trump Administration. Then they will say, "See, we reported real news". All things Trump belongs in one of three rings beneath a big-top circus tent.

  41. I completely agree that the place that Shep Smith is most useful to the left, is Fox News. People who watch Fox, only watch Fox (and maybe infowars). What use would he be on MSNBC, when the people who need be challenged by him would never watch MSNBC? He is the only anchor on Fox who regularly challenges his viewers preconceptions, and who tends to deviate from the party line more than any other anchor. Only at Fox can he reach the people who need to be challenged most and taken out of their echo chambers. He is afforded a level of credibility, at least to Fox viewers, just for working there. Take him away, and there will be no one making controversial/nuanced reports, just sycophants and propagandists for Trump.

  42. Didnt we go through this bullshit for 2 years with Russia. No evidence whatsoever after 2 years, 100 subpoenas and unlimited resources…. couldn't get anything to stick there and it juts disappears and weeks later UKRAINE!!!

  43. I like Shep Smith for being honest and fair. Truth does matter and holds people in power acountable to those who put them in office.

  44. ….but this guy Shep, is reading from a teleprompter. He wouldn't have written that script would he?
Am in the UK, and our news reporters don't write their own scripts.

  45. Shep needs a night time slot so that the FOX viewers who work during the day can be exposed to actual news without it being sensationalized. If your only source ofβ€œnews” each day comes from watching Tucker, Hannity, and Ingraham during the evening hours, all you have to base your thoughts and views on, is skewed propaganda masquerading as unequivocal facts.

  46. Sorry, David… but you appear to be narrow-mindedly clueless. Your "take" on this whole story is riddled with fabricated spins, twists and distortions of the truth. Honest objectivity might help your channel — and your own piece of mind. You ought to try it some time.

  47. Fox entertainment is merely tRump state run media apparatus! His followers fit into basically one descriptive group! That's why his 30 plus percent remains constant! Includes many evangelical who couldn't be christian based on their own beliefs. Or they're just bigoted hypocrites!

  48. Shep Smith needs to stay and then they need to get five more like him … of course that would only be if Fox suddenly wanted to deprogram their watchers.
